Sometimes, you get the urge to shoot and you don’t think about the perils of a harsh environment. Knowing I was going to process this in Black & White, I welcomed the harsh shadows to accentuate the lines of the model and the surrounding textures. The Arizona Desert can be most unforgiving, but we made the most of it in the 1 hour we had to shoot. Hydration soon followed.
